Darktable users forums11/29/2023 ![]() So when darktable was made available in Windows, I was naturally curious. I've been using DT for maybe three years, first for Nikon and more recently Fuji raw files. darktable - A user review and some thoughts for anyone considering a raw editor 16 As a hobbyist, I am always excited about new offerings in post processing. I'm not sure I'm up to recompiling!ĭid you load my xmp? For masking the sky I used a drawn mask and a large feathering radius (see the second color balance instance).ġ. Thanks, I think I've worked it out (see above). I tried again doing the same thing with g channel with more success (not surprising, on reflection). The problem was that I was trying to use a parametric mask to mask the sky using the L channel, invert the mask, and then increase exposure for the buildings, but that affected also some of the buildings and reflections in the water. Yes I should have been a bit more specific. If you don't mind recompiling from source, it's the "src/external/wb_presets.c" fileĪpols, and thanks. I found a post in the DPR forums where someone posted where to find this, (now can't find it again) but I think it may have been for an earlier version of DT as the file and folder suggested don't exist on my system (Linux mint 19.3, darktable 3.0.1).
